Ken has spent the last 25 years practicing law from both sides of the “v.”. In the immortal words of Johnny Cash, Ken has been “everywhere” in his legal career. Ken started off representing plaintiffs in a three-attorney personal injury firm in New Jersey.
Before starting his own practice, he managed the staff counsel office of a Fortune 500 insurance company for the state of Georgia. In between, he has represented plaintiffs at small firms, defended individuals and companies as an associate with mid-sized insurance defense firms, was a partner in a national defense litigation firm, and has served as staff counsel for several insurance carriers
Ken has litigated personal injury cases arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, negligent security, construction defects and professional negligence. He has also litigated property damages cases arising from defective construction and professional malpractice of architects, engineers, attorneys, and accountants. Ken is also experienced in insurance coverage disputes, will disputes, homeowners’ association disputes, lemon law claims, and other civil matters. As a result of his long and diverse litigation background, Ken is very familiar with the unique issues that both plaintiffs and defendants face when trying to resolve a dispute.
In addition to being an independent neutral mediator, Ken also maintains a general civil litigation practice with a concentration in probate litigation. See www.SiscoProbateLaw.com for more information.
Outside the office, you will often find Ken at the ballpark, where he volunteers as a commissioner and coach for a youth rec baseball league. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage sons, as well as his spoiled dogs Rex and Stoli. Although a native of New Jersey, Ken now firmly considers himself a southerner. He enjoys watching college football in the fall, and is a proud Georgia Bulldogs fan.
